Connect provides a wali (guardian) feature to support Islamic marriage practices. By linking a wali to your account, you grant that person read-only access to your messages and contact requests as configured in your settings.
Connect does not verify the Islamic legitimacy of wali relationships. You are responsible for ensuring your wali arrangements comply with your own religious and family requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Connect and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or harm arising from interactions with other members.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts. These Terms are subject to the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of Connect after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
